It currently looks like Calgary YYC- Salt Lake City, US flight✈️route is scheduled resume in October 12 2021 on Delta Airlines with Embraer E175 operating it.

While current looks like Vancouver YVR- Salt Lake City on Delta Airlines is scheduled to resume December 19 2021.

*Although it could still possibly change* due to the pandemic still on going.

AC Rouge also resumed flying yesterday. Interestingly enough 1 daily YYZ-YQR is on RV the others are still Express.

The press release says the Rouge fleet is now at 39, so evidently the ~26 Rouge 319s will be reactivated/un-retired.

Wouldn't be surprised if AC uses its Rouge brand to compete for Leisure passengers more out of Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Kelowna, Victoria, Halifax, Ottawa, Winnipeg & smaller airports in Canada,as it's more leisurely demand there & also to compete with Flair and Swoop Airlines which are mainly attracting Leisurely passengers.

Along with some limited Rouge flights✈️ out of Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary so it won't effect demand on AC's Mainline flights out of Air Canada's 4 busiest Hubs.

WestJet started it’s new between Calgary Alberta-Dawson Creek BC -Calgary, Canada flights✈️ today, currently scheduled to fly up to 4x weekly , (although could change depending on demand).

Well for this winter at YOW, all Florida and international sun flying is on mainline 320s.

Halifax's first regularly scheduled international flight since the beginning of the pandemic is on the way!

It's a Condor 767-300 from Frankfort and they will operate 2 flights a week until November.

Nova Scotia and the Maritimes are a popular destination for Germans and many have property here.....and probably the first time they've seen their homes in nearly two years.

Condor as well as Lufthansa/Eurowings will both be flying the route next year.

Now lets gets United, American and Delta back with US destinations.

Good news for Halifax Airport!

It’s sounds like Flair Airlines plans to increase flight ✈️ frequencies out of Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Winnipeg, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, & Montreal airport’s in Canada. There must be demand in these 8 cities for them!

I checked for YOW and while capacity overall will be down a bit in summer 2022 (at least at this point), since they're cutting YOW-YYZ and the seasonal YLW and YXX routes see a capacity trim. However on the flip side, they're extending YOW-LAS/MCO/FLL to year-round!

Considering it's only September and they have a few more planes on order I'd expect more.

Second, Azores Airlines has loaded 2x weekly PDL-YUL in its flight schedules for next summer, starting June 4, 2022. Route isn't bookable yet though.

Route was last flown as 1x weekly service in 2019.

And lastly, good news always seems to come in threes.

Brussels Airlines also has BRU-YUL bookable, 4x weekly A333 service, commencing March 27, 2022. Now Brussels was supposed to start service this summer as well, but ended up cancelling, so it's not 100% confirmed they will start. It's nonetheless good news that the flights are loaded and bookable.

These are some airlines I didn't expect to see so soon at YUL. Glad I was wrong ! If Brussels do indeed start service, YUL will have all 4 Lufthansa Group main network carriers, like we were supposed to in 2020. LH, OS, SN and LX.
