Try AutoCad.

I could see Batman & Tim Burton living there. Gothic revival has a certain charm.

Nice! Where is the middle one? Somewhere on the Central Coast? 1 and 3 are very obviously Santa Barbara esque.

What are you using for your renderings? I still do mine by hand. Local boards seem to prefer that over computer models.

SLO Oct 29, 2016 3:38 PM

Thank, nice job you guessed it right, the middle is back in Arlington, Texas the other two on the coast
I found this guy on the internet and liked his style vs the typical 3D renderings although they are digital renderings he developed this watercolor quality. Super fast and inexpensive. PM me if you want his web contact...

I've got the original stained glass for the transoms on the lefthand building and am restoring the original doors and trim around the main entrance on the right hand building. I'm also going to make replacement brackets for the cornice on the lefthand building including little spindle drip tips hand turned on a lathe. You can see where the original brackets were in five sets of two. Two sets on the left, one set in the peak, two sets on the right.

^ Looking forward to seeing the finished product in person, followed by a trip to Dusek’s, then a trip to my project in Avondale, capped off by a beer at the Podlasie Club (we might score with some drunk Polish ladies!)

SLO May 28, 2018 4:23 AM

Any update on the reno?

Good stuff rgarri4! Its amazing how far rendering technology has come....for many people its hard to tell the difference.

I've got these two fun projects in the early stages of construction.

The first is a new hillside ocean view estate in Santa Barbara, around 8,000sf.

I haven't posted any built projects, because they belong to firms that I have worked for.

Really a nice house !

First two shots are terrific! All are great, but those two shots are great. Very contemporary...

You are part of a firm now? What are you using for rendering? Last couple I did, were Revit and Lumion, great results....
