Nice photos! I'm disappointed I haven't made it there this year. I had planned on going last January, but had to cancel due to the government shut down. Then I planned on taking my dad for his birthday to a Tigers game in July, but we ended up backing out on buying tickets that weekend because heat indices were well over 100 and no one in my family had any interest in sitting outside in that weather. Schedule is too packed this fall... so maybe I'll make it there next year. As your photos show, there's plenty to check out!

I was in a little Canadian town across the river to Detroit in winter 2017 (just say Windsor what a jerk I am - pretending not knowing the name since it took me over 6 snowy hours on bus from Toronto to WINDSOR bus terminal) in order to watch Detroit where I was always yearning for since young.
And I was soothed to see the city lights in Detroit and the elevators going up and down at Renaissance Center almost all night long. |

I've heard of that Grand Trunk Pub. It was a ticket office for the Grand Trunk Railway. Harry Houdini apparently worked in a magic shop down in the basement. |
