However, China Airlines does to TPE and scheduled through the summer for now. Perhaps YVR's first A350 route? BA's 744s are set to return in late autumn for the 2016/2017 winter season. Yes, Korean is scheduled to commence 748 ops this summer. Also YVR sees 744/748 freighters on both CX and KE. YVR definitely will see a fantastic mix of wide body aircraft this summer. I think there will no longer be any A340-300s though as PR goes all 77W. LH is brining back the A340-600 on some of the MUC flights. |

I believe BA is doing a 744 currently. Have to say as a passenger I miss the A340. It has been years since Air Canada has had any. They were so quite. It will sad to see them go. |
Meanwhile the Société de transport de Montréal insists on numbering its airport express bus with 747.

Nice YUL pic. Is there any plan to revamp the domestic side? It would be nice if they got rid of the aeroquay.

I've updated my International widebody* (Mexico City included) charts to include the latest equipment changes and not I've added seats and a handy summary! I'm sure there are a few errors here and there but for the most part they are pretty accurate.
Edmonton: http://i.imgur.com/AAxelPb.jpg Calgary: http://i.imgur.com/1WvHgk0.jpg Vancouver: http://i.imgur.com/ouihHCz.jpg As you can see some strong growth at YVR and the Alberta airports are still holding steady (YYC even adding capacity) on the intl front through the downturn. Lots of capacity from YVR to a few strong hubs, with several double daily destinations and some triple dailies. Triple daily:

Great list Leftcoaster, awesome! Only two small things I noticed. China Airlines is daily 744, not using the 340 at all. And for AC, I believe the daily Sydney 77L has been reconfigured and has 300 seats now, or I might be wrong?

^ Nice work. I see you italicized Hainan, Tianjin and Beijing Capital Airlines, but since they aren't confirmed, they shouldn't be counted anyways. Total weekly flights should be 258, as per today's schedules. So, the top 8 busiest airports in country, and their number of weekly intercontinental flights looks something like this... YYZ - a million + weekly intl flights :D YVR - 258 YUL - 252 YYC - 55 YEG - 12 YOW - 14 YWG - 1 YHZ - 23 |

You're right in that they aren't set to hit summer 16' but I don't want to remove them because then I'd have to put them back in if and when they are confirmed. It's my list and I can be lazy if i want to! :D |
Lots of good info on that chart Leftcoaster,
nice thread. I finally set foot into a Canada thread. There are 136pages worth of goodies I have missed out on, well no more! |
Mexico City is not intercontinental! Anyway I have to once again update YUL intercontinental as I keep getting updates.

daily AC to LHR daily WS to GLA 1 weekly ASL airlines/Europe Airpost to DUB/CDG 3 weekly FI to KEF 4 weekly DE to FRA 1 weekly DE to MUC. All of these are summer seasonal except for AC to LHR, which operates at reduced frequency during the winter. |
Just read AC is to purchase a bunch of C Series jets from bombardier.

Positive move. From a customer experience perspective going from the E190 and A32x series to the C300 and 737. The C300 looks to be a step forward, the 737 a step back. Win some you lose some. Overall a great move for Canadian Aerospace. |
