Boy what a bunch of homers the Texans are! Either NYC or Chicago!

volguus zildrohar Dec 14, 2010 4:43 AM

Wyoming, so that people will go to see it and that state will have a tourism industry at last.

Perhaps you have heard of Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks?

hudkina Dec 23, 2010 2:10 AM

Yellowstone? I've never even heard of Wyoming!

betawest May 6, 2011 7:04 AM

Chicago. New York doesn't want higher than the Empire State except at WTC.

JDRCRASH May 6, 2011 7:46 AM

If it's part of a complex of smaller towers (to make it fit in the skyline better), i'll go out on a limb and say Los Angeles. And i'm sure there's some boosterism there.

CassGilbert May 12, 2011 3:23 AM

New York City. Would be cool if it was in Brooklyn, spreading the core out.

Boise, ID, just to throw everyone in the world off.

Jdawgboy May 19, 2011 2:00 AM

Austin, Texas... If you had San Antonio on that list should have added Austin, we already have the tallest building in Texas outside of Houston and Dallas...

volguus zildrohar May 19, 2011 5:04 AM

Ugh, if it weren't for Houston and Dallas...

Yellowstone Park and the Grand Tetons don't have tourists?.......nevermind, already been mentioned.:P

If Philly were able to build the proposed American Commerce Center (1,510')on time it would have been the tallest building in the US for about a year before the WTC would have been finished. But the economy farted so if it is built it will be years from now.

Man, why did you close this poll? I wanted to vote for Phoenix.

tujunga Jul 5, 2011 8:41 PM

They should be where they are at the moment, Duh!

naterboy8796 Jul 8, 2011 11:57 PM

its going to be funny when dallas gets the tallest building in the us, then the state secedes and the us government is too poor to build a taller building, so texas is going to be the most advanced country in internal infastructure on the western hemisphere. :D

Juanses Oct 3, 2011 3:45 PM

Hogwash ! New York likes everything tall. Its only has the most high rises in the world by a loooooong shot. In fact, we are adding the equivalent of San Francisco as we speak... lol. the next tallest will be in Hudson Yards me think - a 500m bohemoth.
