Hopefully it won't be as bright as the light was on 99 Hudson in Jersey City. Remember, before it was adjusted, how bright that light was? :haha: It was so bright that I had flashbacks of Bert the Turtle. |
The east facade is so awkward.

The amazing thing about NY is that we build a 1,550' tower, and even before it has been fully completed, a taller tower (175 Park) comes along.
This is the Age of Ramses. |

And there will be more HUGE towers pop up. The reality is New York City is the most powerful and richest city in the most powerful and richest country, and that will not change in any of our lifetimes. There will be a day when 100 1,000 foot towers dot the skyline. |

I wonder how they get that last panel in under that cantilever...

For me, I think a fully lit CPT will be a nice complement to the ever-growing Billionaire's Row of towers! They're towers many of us will never get to enjoy inside and out, but the area visually feels more complete with that, 220CPS, and everything else that lines up the north part of Central Park! 2020s New York isn't what I imagined growing up in the 80s and 90s, but I'm glad it's still changing and evolving! :D |
