Why is this considered a residential building? According to http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=95079, it will be a mixed-use building containing hotel, office, and retail in addition to residential.

There's no office space here. Residential/Mixed-use is based on a ratio. There's no longer a hotel.

Wow, just a decade ago the Chrysler Building was still quite prominent, being the second tallest building at the time, but now it's barely visible from afar.

It's at least that high I think. Perhaps closer to 1,300 just judging from most photos (even taking the angle into account).

To the right of 432 Park stand the Four Sisters of the LIPA/PSE&G LI Northport facility, a tick over 9 miles from my home and almost 40 toll-free miles from where I'm guessing this pic was taken.

If you extend a line up from where Madison Square Park is, you can see the white roof of Arthur Ashe Stadium, where they play the Open Tennis Championship. Up from there you can see North Shore Towers, right next to Long Island Jewish Hospital (you can see a sliver of the top floors). Keep going right, or by following the slope of 35XV, and you'll see the terraced peak of the massive Creedmore Psychiatric Center, which is just north of Belmont Race Track I could do this all day...

Plus one to these photos from the park. Where we can see the collaboration of nature and modernization. :)

Two quick obs then I'm done:

Go even further to the right out of the shot and you will see Westbury's Covanta Hempstead 381-1/2 ' incinerator stack that marks where Hofstra, the Nassau Mausoleum, EAB Towers and NUMC building stand nearby.
Re Long Island Jewish, I credit them for saving my life with a simultaneous nephrectomy (kidney removal) and appendectomy due to infection...Damn, that place

Does anyone know the exact dimensions of this tower (width and height I mean)?

It barely looks wider than 432 park

The cantilevered portion itself sticks out 28 ft and is about 90 ft wide... so it's just slightly narrower along it's thinner axis than 432 Park's 93.5ft square.
