The skyline has significantly changed .
Hope the grand hyatt will be home of the new york city first megatall . |

What i dont understand is , one world trade center is so far from this point but its make a huge dominations.
|
it's just that big. Eventually 2 WTC and 80 South Street will be visible from angles like that as well. The Twins were particularly imposing.

Basically they’re all far away at that point. The further away you get from the giants of Manhattan and the skyline, the more apparent the scale. More difficult to grasp when you’re in it, or up close.

From today's chopper 4 covering the protests.
There is a reason its called "the city". This image pretty much solidifies the reason the crown is still on the king. https://aws1.discourse-cdn.com/busin...790dd4a98.jpeg |
Damn, that shot makes Downtown look more outnumbered than ever before. Always has been, but Midtown is just exploding now. Lower Manhattan could really use, 2WTC, 45 Broad and 80SS.

It's like we finally have the skyline of the future in NY. The facade does look great, especially those silver pinstripes.

You know what? They can afford to be slightly more discreet and subtle over here in Paris, except for the Xmas season when people would empty their bank accounts for gifts anyhow... I like the neat design anyway. I like both sleek glass and colors. It'd be cool if they sold stuffed toys for little kids instead of their helpless luxury fashion. Kids like colors too. Psst, wealthy people? They are still naive, frivolous and arrogant somehow. Aren't they? |
