30 Otis is dominating the skyline now! So strange to see this in my neighborhood.

While 250' isn't high, it's all relative. 30 Otis becomes the "cliff" next to all the low rise buildings next to it.

This building is being put up by the City Ballet School. Largely residential, for students and others, one assumes residents will be able to move in when it's finished. But it's also to be the new home for the school and it seems unlikely ballet classes will resume until COVID is history.
The same issue seemingly afflicts the Conservatory of Music's new building across Market St on Van Ness. |
