Quebec City never should have lost their franchise in the first place. Bring it back, mon dieu!
|
Hell yeah. Bring back the Nordiques. Bring back the Jets while they're at it too.
|
The nordiques-Habs rivalry was bigger than the To-Mtl one, it was much more bitter and vindictive than any battle of alberta or ontario and put the boston-mtl rivalry to shame....that being said BRING BACK LES CRISS DES NORDIQUES...esti

I wonder why it didn't work with the Citadelles in Q.C... A city this size with only a junior team is a little pathetic!
|
bringing back the nords and jets would be so friggen awesome
then only Hartford is needed and the nhl is awesome again |

The Nords would be awesome, but.... |
I wonder if this would involve moving a U.S. team, or an expansion.
|
I hope there's never any more expansions, 30 teams is fine.

It would be great to get an NHL team back in Quebec City.
Throw another one back in Winnipeg and one in Hamilton, and I think Canadians (ie. real hockey fans) would be satisfied their country is properly represented. |
Bring them back !!

Those jerseys are freaking awesome.

It would be great to see the fucking Nords back! The only Habs/Nords game I ever caught was on a double game dream visit to Montréal back in 1987, Habs/Nords on Thursday, Habs/Leafs on Saturday. When I arrived, EVERYBODY was talking about the game; old ladies, kids.. there were 20 page pull-out sections devoted to the game in every paper and you could feel the mutual hatred in the Forum. The Nords brought up a goon named Richard Zemlak specifically to fight John Kordic and Kordic destroyed him!
The Habs won 5-2 and then beat the Leafs 2-1 on Saturday. My 3 leaf fan buddies who came with me from Toronto had to pay for my entire weekend: hotel, drinks, food.. great time! |
Closer and closer....
