Patrick Jul 17, 2007 9:10 AM

AMAZING! I LOVE, your towers.

Although I must say, your city is very futuristic, very! And I like it!

Austin55 Jul 17, 2007 6:56 PM

How do you make those trusses?! AMAZING!!!

Peter Jul 17, 2007 11:02 PM

great start! i love that bridge you made! and the twins are fabulous, i'm glad you decided to remake them and add them in  i also agree with Patrick, that your city is very futuristic, it's very modern. keep it up Mo! :D

foxmtbr Jul 17, 2007 11:45 PM

You must have a lot of free time to do all that detail!

Mocholate Jul 18, 2007 1:15 AM

thanks guys  It is futuristic hey ? hopefully not in a Jetsons way,but futuristic enough to say Goodbai to Dubai :haha:

Yep, i have way too much spare time ! :haha:

I should have all the buildings in place today or tomorrow and the ground detail by the end of the week , i'll post some more pics later

The bridge cables were more tricky than the trusses on the skybridges

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...dat/bridge.jpg

Peter Jul 18, 2007 2:03 AM

^^What an amazing shot!! I imagine those cables were difficult, but do you plan on making more of them (since it's proably not enough to realistically suspend the pavement) but hey, even if not, it is definately one of the coolest bridges I've seen :D

foxmtbr Jul 18, 2007 2:05 AM

I agree, the cables are SWEET!

Mocholate Jul 18, 2007 2:20 AM

thanks,,

the arc of the bridge takes most of the weight , the cables are mostly for stability + the steel is high tech, produced using carbons from Mars :haha:

Austin55 Jul 18, 2007 3:36 AM

How do you make those cables!!??!

Patrick Jul 18, 2007 5:20 AM

To be tottaly honest, I never was crazy about your original Sketchup City, it really had no scale, and it was too dark.

But now I LOVE THIS CITY! Truely one of my favorites :)

Austin55 Jul 18, 2007 5:22 AM

:previous: yaeh same here:whip:

rbowk Jul 18, 2007 6:49 AM

nice i love it great detail

yeah mightdo gold coast but the only prob is i am not advanced

to do those hotels and stuff soo yeah i was also thinking of doing brisbane but to hard i want to do one that is not hard

Mocholate Jul 18, 2007 10:09 AM

thanks :haha: i was never really very impressed with the last city either , it sucked my ass .
The main problem was because my PC is hooked up to the tv , i was doing everything while sitting on the lounge using a book as a mouse pad :haha:

It was a joke and it refected in the city
now i have a table set up in here and all is good :D

rbowk , the only thing this city has in common with the Gold Coast is the location , although i'm doing a copy of Q1 atm that i will stick in there

the designs are top secret Austin :P

The skybridges were Peters idea , glad you like them

foxmtbr Jul 18, 2007 11:00 AM

How is the clarity on the TV? Is it an HDTV? Any TV I've ever hooked up to my computer had such crappy quality that I couldn't even read any text. I'm assuming you have a really nice TV...?
