Oh yeah and many hotels in north Syracuse near the airport allow you to leave your car there for free during your trip if you stay at least one night with them. At YOW and YUL you have to pay to leave your car there for the week.

Winnipeg's airport is awesome for parking. I used to ditch my car there and leave it a week while I was home and it was cheaper than cabbing it both ways.

I agree, it's a deal if you have a big family. With little kids, it kind of gets complicated.

I've travelled internationally with little kids (I'm talking babies, toddlers). Maybe it's just me, but I want that trip to be as direct and as short as possible! :D

That is flippin' nuts. I hope someday that air travel will become more affordable in Canada, it's really the one economical way to unite the country.

Mine were OK with pretty much anything travel-related by the time they were about 4 or 5.

It's only a really good deal for flying to points within the U.S. though. To my knowledge there aren't any major bargains to be had flying from the States to go overseas. And flying to the Caribbean to an all-inclusive resort from a U.S. airport generally isn't advantageous for Canadians either.

Oh, I know that. :) I was just meaning it would be nice for Canadians to have similarly affordable airfares for domestic flights that Americans currently have as well as having airfares to the US more in line with what Americans pay (obviously dependent still on how long a flight it is).

My kids travel well because they have never known routine. I'll have to wait and see what happens when they become teens.
