hkskyline's 2017 in Morocco's Countryside - Ait Benhaddou
COVID has given me a chance to scan my archives to look for forgotten trips and photos. It led me to a set from my Morocco road trip back in 2017 that covered the Atlas mountains and the Sahara. Dotted with historic structures and desolate landscapes, this part of the country is quite interesting yet well-touristed.
Ait Benhaddou's ksar was made famous in a few Hollywood movies. On the southern section of the Atlas, this group of earthen buildings are surrounded by high defensive walls and has become a major tourist stop just 30km from Ouarzazate.
