The guy on the left in post #5578 needs to lighten up. He's in the midst of the greatest skyline and looks like he's constipated beyond belief. Maybe if he turned around, and witnessed the glorious aesthetics, he wouldn't be constipated due to the adrenaline that view evokes!

That makes sense.
A mechanical floor is (by far) a much more involved engineering challenge during construction.

Could it get taller than where the top of the crane is in that last pic?

It'll go way past that.

As a reference, I just took above pic and compare it to rendering. Use 220 CPS as a reference relative to the crane.

... Compare top vs bottom (rough idea)

I love how they can't ignore the RAMSA tower so they just make it fugly and squat.

Remember how bad the glass on 1WTC looked because it was all at differen't levels of dirtiness when the tower was completed? That looked bad. I guess they're going to want to prevent scuffs/dirt for as long as possible.

Cruise ships are so ugly. That thing has about as much style and grace as a moving van.

I was just thinking the presence this will have from AMSL of 0', given the extra boost due to elevation.

Kinda a cool effect when clouds are low, and towers like 432 Park look like they extend into the heavens (pic a couple of posts back).
