TRI Moves Branch to SF.

loser for life-TRI,one of the worlds biggest companies is moving a part of it Shiping Division to San Felix. This is a surprising move, with San Felixes falterd economy. Tri hopes to expand With more shipping in the pacific ocean.Tri is one of the largest companeis to move to SF in the past years. More on D4(you could write a better story,if you want)

very much so,the grid isnt even complete. no offensce taken.

Im considering removing James Tower, and replacing it with a more californian tower,or,remove on electric twin and make a new tower that is very tall that would take james's place. Im undecided.

I must ask,What is your current favorite building?

Dac150 Oct 8, 2007 10:24 PM

My favorite building would be the one my fictional sketch-up company "TRI" moved into. I can see that built in real life, only with a more glassy facade.

Austin55 Oct 8, 2007 11:16 PM

I like that one to:)

anyone at 3d warehouse,Search SSP, you should find one made by Micro, you can find the rest of my models from there. be sure to rate:)

San Felix has been restricted by water. th city is on a penninsula,so I have reached the docklands. There's still alot of work to do with the area.
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...stin5555/i.jpg

and the classic view
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...n5555/SanF.jpg
There's still alot of upgrading to be done. Its kinda sad atually,San felix's main downtown is pretty much finished. of course the skyline will continue to grow.

The san felix landscape is based of San Fransisco, but "Oakland" will be huger. Of course, there will e a big bridge.:)
here's a map,
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...stin5555/m.jpg
yellow-Complete
Green-Park
red-Miami based towers that could be up by 2008.
and of course,mountins!

Thanks for your time:cheers:

verticalextropy Oct 13, 2007 6:59 AM

Patrick Oct 16, 2007 4:17 AM

I really like the skyline now, very realalistic, I like the little World Financial Styled buildings there

Oh I saw a little bit of you and Dac's convorsation, we can pick a building in your city one of our companies can lease?

If so DAMN THIS IS HARDD, I think I'll take #9, looks good, I dont know which company should move in, maybe you should pick? IF we can take two towers may I have #8, its postmodern sexy.

Here are some avalible Staunton-Based companies that need a company in Northern California.

Galviston Enterprises (or smaller branches)
- Galviston Industries
- Galviston Chemicals
- Galviston Steel
Kent Enterprise Regional Headquarters
Lloyd International (Residences & Hotel) (actually based in New York City, not Staunton)
JC Summit Entertainament
JCMorgennMace Company Conglomorate (actually based in Dallas, not Staunton)

:)

Would you like to see a freestyle grid in SF? Like staunton or R-X? it would take work but I know how.

Aleks Nov 8, 2007 12:44 AM

Wait. What do you mean by "freestyle?"

The city is nice but on the second shot there is a big, fat, red-ish tower and I don't like it much.. Isn't 2 point perspective the same as parallel projection?

treras93 Nov 8, 2007 12:48 AM

i think he means where each block is not just a copy of the square

Dac150 Nov 8, 2007 1:24 AM

Very cool in between those two buildings.

Austin55 Nov 8, 2007 2:11 AM

:previous: Thanks much.

Reds been gone for a day or two now, actually.

Exactly.

Patrick Nov 8, 2007 3:04 AM

Idk whats better a grid, or freestyle grid, Because Staunton is on the tip of a peninsula, I made the grid match the landscape, much like Lower Manhattan.

I think you should stick to a grid, most California Cities are on one, including practically the whole Los Angeles Area.

Austin55 Nov 9, 2007 12:10 AM

:previous: hey,do you still want a company?

I have a new tower here I think you would like,

http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...in5555/ssp.png

Nad here what replaced the red box alek was talkin about,Aqiurium Residences,

http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...tin5555/aq.png

and a random shot
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...5555/11111.png

Austin55 Nov 10, 2007 5:14 PM

Ive been pumpin out models like theres no tomorrow.
Dallas, fort worth, new york, sanfransico, sacramento, chicago and atlanta are all included:)
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...555/stuff1.jpg

Aleks Nov 10, 2007 5:40 PM

WOW, the Aquarium Residences is nice! How tall is it?

I think what you need is to make the buildings a little closer cause the city will look dense and realistic.

Austin55 Nov 10, 2007 5:44 PM

why ofcourse,555 feet tall!

the area surronding the aqiuriem used to have hieght from a nearby airport. 80% of the building in that area are about 600feet tall.

Austin55 Nov 10, 2007 5:49 PM

infact, this was going to be the location of a 2,200 foot WTB tower after the limit was lifted. the company folded, and the project split up. the soil was also to unstable to build tall,so this Roll on based bulding now existshere. today, mocholate an picasso plaza ocupy the sky nearby

Austin55 Nov 10, 2007 10:48 PM

how come I aint gettin any comments?

from the bridge.
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/vvbridge.jpg

Aleks Nov 10, 2007 11:42 PM

Well, I just got on.

So I'm leaving a comment. Anyways, awesome bridge, did you just make it? The only thing that looks weird is the bridges towers, they look too wide to be that tall. But other than that everything is good.

Dac150 Nov 10, 2007 11:51 PM

The towers are very nice, but too thick. Also, the bridge deck only looks like it can hold 1 lane for mini-coopers. I say keep the tower concept, but slim them down and make a wider deck.

treras93 Nov 11, 2007 12:06 AM

:previous: i was just about to say the same thing:previous:
the actual design is cool but the towers are just to fat

the aquarium residences are awesome; great texture for the building :)

foxmtbr Nov 11, 2007 1:15 AM

I agree with the slimming idea. Other than that, it looks awesome!

excellent. i love the one with the high points in the middle! is that a real building, if so, someone tell me what it's called so i can look up real pics of it. it's like a castle, like Pittsburgh's One PPG Place (one of my top favorite buildings). i love it

the bridge is fantastic, but i agree with them. make the towers skinnier and make it wider for more lanes.

Aleks Nov 11, 2007 2:22 AM

Peter-All the buildings on the first pic are real and that is Pittsburgh's One PPG; the tallest is Wells Fargo I think in Houston.
