Well school gives me ideas. I get bored in class so I look around and whatever I like, I draw in the shape of the building.

Paris will blow your mind. My visit there in June changed my life.

Wait, this is Paris, France, right? Because, I mean, living in Dallas it wouldn't seem that odd to take a field trip to Paris, TX...

Austin55 Sep 1, 2007 1:54 PM

The Fluffy Memorial Bridge
To all those who suffered to see it finshed, and to fluffy, who gave his life to it.

RIP Fluffy.

DanE008 Sep 1, 2007 6:13 PM

Great work I like the museum, very modern.

Mocholate Sep 1, 2007 6:44 PM

I reckon another fluffy bridge on the crossing behind the existing bridge but with column on the opposite side would look cool

Austin55 Sep 1, 2007 9:12 PM

if you were wondering what was up with that lot of red flowers..

During the Mexican American war there was a American brigade staitioned there.one day the mexicans showed up on the shore to destroy the fort(mission church). A battle erupted, and after 3 days of feroucies fighting, the americans were losing. there were around 500 mexicans and 75 americans. when the mexicans landed on the beach, the americans flead the shelter of the fort.the 75 americns killed over 200 mexican sordiers, mostly in hand to hand combat.
the reaming mexicans pushed inland, while the generals cowerdly went home.

today, the lot is covered with red flowers,a symbol of the sacrifice made by the americans.

(reminds you of the Alamo doesnt it?:sly: )

Mocholate Sep 1, 2007 10:02 PM

cool story , i was wondering why it is red :D

Thats pretty impressive, but as you can see, they only used real life photo ground pictures, and add bland boxes over them, while it looks good from above, it wont look so good from below.

On the other hand, I'm much more impressed by GTA IV, but I'm very dissapointed on Rockstar's decission to flat out copy New York City. Unlike GTA 3 where it was simular to NYC but had their own towers.

it will have 55 floors, so expect it to be over 700 feet tall!!!

FREKI Sep 12, 2007 11:31 PM

For some reason the flowers and towers remind me of Tampa :)

Austin55 Sep 14, 2007 9:30 PM

http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...in5555/9-4.png

Aleks Sep 14, 2007 10:35 PM

Lol, The aquarium is nice but I think it would look much better if it was near water. Oh, and I have the final design for your tower.

It's 800 ft. tall to roof and 900 ft. to spire. 55 floors, but I don't know if it should be residential or office.

Austin55 Sep 15, 2007 12:32 AM

I will PM you my version for SF soon

Austin55 Sep 15, 2007 7:14 AM

Nice. Your skyline changed a lot

What's that thing in the gap left of the tallest tower (don't know it's name)? It's untextured.

Mocholate Sep 15, 2007 7:14 PM

Yes i want to know too :hyper:

Looking nice austin , is the wavy Aquarium wall like a street viewable tank ?

Junk in your trunk. Lol that was corny.

The statue is from 3D Warehouse right? So you must have rescaled it because it looks bigger. How do you rescale?

Just a tip, rotate some of the palms so that they don't point the same direction.

treras93 Sep 16, 2007 12:00 AM

it all looks great austin i love it all:tup:

:previous: theres a scale tool, i think on Windows the letter s is the short cut for it:)
