Also, thanks for the note Jibba. Will update soon...

I missed 915, same project. Maybe toss the fancier image in there for good measure?

Great work on the thread re-boot Sentinel, and nice photos to start Harry!

Can we get this thread linked to Chicago Projects & Construction sub forum please? I know that is a convoluted process, because only a handful of people on the site have that ability, but it is the only place myself (and many others) routinely check.

Much thanks, and kudos for the thread reboot, lots of work all for the benefit of perfect strangers

FYI there is a community meeting to discuss a potential development at 710 W Grand on WEDNESDAY, August 12, 2015 - 7:00pm at Cy's King Crab at 695 N Milwaukee. This is a small condo tower with a decent design. I think it's like 12-14 stories.

Can we include RUMORED projects like 1000 s state, and the SAIC tower? Also can you add River South.

Thanks for the new thread. :)

Live Aqua/Conservatory tower as well, perhaps

Sentinel,

I would consider Webster Square under construction. It's a complete renovation to the existing hospital building on that site. Last time I was by there (4 weeks ago, maybe) the cladding had been fully demo'd off the existing building, and they were beginning to modify the existing floor slabs for the new facade.

Per the PD document, the main building will be 152' tall

^Thanks for the info Ned, updated Webster Square.

Also added entry for Conservatory Tower/Aqua hotel. Projects like 1000 S. Michigan, SAIC dorm and River South will be added once designs and height/floor count become available.

What's the rumor regarding 1000 S State? I seemed to have completely missed that one, and everything that comes up on Google either relates to Golub's apartment tower across the street or 1000 S Clark.

Someone's wanting to knock down that horrible parking garage fronting State?

I'm sorry, I had the wrong address, that should read '1000 S. Michigan'. That's the soon-to-be Helmut Jahn-designed tower, which we currently know very little about other than the location and architect. No floor count/height or design has been released yet, just the info that was announced in Crain's last week.

There was some talk of SAIC building something large on the SE corner of Harrison and State, but that was just a rumor IIRC. Now at the NW corner of Balbo and Wabash, there was talk back in May (http://skyscraperpage.com/forum/show...25#post7020431) of a new student housing development.

The majority of the credit goes to Steely Dan, i_am_hydrogen and others for getting everything started and well-maintained for so many years; I'm just here to help.

Oh yeah, but 1000 State is a little farther south than Harrison. But I believe the SAIC campus will transpire, since it was revealed they had purchased that lot. In the rumors department, we also have the Vinoly design on Roosevelt/Michigan. If we get Vinoly and Jahn towers on South Michigan, the South Loop will finally have the signature towers it needs.
