Nice pictures! I am not familiar with the Montcalm neighborhood (I had to look up where it is), but I was in the St-Jean-Baptiste neighborhood when I was in Quebec City a few years ago. I stopped by Pub Nelligan's for a beer and met a few locals, who were listening to French Quebec rock music or something, and also learned about the Eastern Townships from the one barfly with good English.

Somewhat haphazard, but still manages to be charming. The Old City is so damn photogenic, it's hard for other areas of the city to compare. I hope to see more threads of QBC.

I love the scale of these neighborhoods—very walkable & charming. Only been to QC once (in 2009) and would love to return!

Even if I live here since 2011, there is always something new to see : An historic plate, a building, a vantage point that I had never see before...
