So maybe we're talking superstructure top-out in a little bit more than a year...maybe?
Maybe somewhat less as the building does its subtle tapering thing. |

Yes, it gives off the impression that they are a bunch of boxes stacked when the lights are on -- it changes the feel of the tower compared to daytime for the better. It looks much cooler at that time of day.

Not to side track this off of 111 but 432 Park is starting to grow on me. In a way, I kinda think it's the developers homage to the old WTC towers and that lust people wanted for a similar replacement. Same box shape and taller. And there it is.

In that last pic above, what the heck is that tall slender building down there by Tribeca? Or maybe just the spire off of one of the other building just makes it look that way.

so what floor does the first taper inset start?
and how far are we away from that point? anybody know? i am guessing its currently about halfway up to the first tapered-in floor. |
