Yeah...As if I'm gonna go out of my way to make sure that unwanted elements of the overall picture I wanna take actually receive the dignity of inclusion into the shot. Okay, then I would've done some editing by cropping the original on both sides so that I do get exactly what I'm looking for. Maybe he/she should've, too. |
Lean back! Lean Back! CPT and Stienway leaning back, got dem hos in check, 220 CPS watching in distress, what a mess, its been 57 days since One57 lost a contract, contrary to the fact, skinny does distract backed by electrical facades, aesthetical might.

Central Park Tower looks like 111 57th's empty display case.

I think JDS won the gem of 57th Street award. The age old battle between Extell and Stern's JDS. CPT may be taller, but folks will be in awe of Stienway.
One building I kinda wish was taller is 220 CPS, which is a gem as well. Kinda overshadowed by CPT IMO. Would of been nice if that design was let's say on Park Avenue. JDS also has 9 Dekalb. Extell may have Brooklyn Point, but 9 Dekalb will once again be what makes folks blush in awe. |
Sad how these super-tall, vapid, aesthetic monstrosities are hailed, apparently, just because they are tall. How did these horrific things now irretrievably blighting Manhattan’s skyline come to be?

For cheap designs, see Kaufman or Sam Chang hotels which there are a few threads on SSP documenting those cheap, aesthetically anemic towers. The ones listed in those links are far from cheap. Yeah if cheap is used in the context of amusement or a joke... than :haha: ... but in a context with a serious face...

I wish Worldwide Plaza had about 400 or more extra feet of height.
