The other projects gaining conditional board approval included:

•1010 Brickell, planned for 1010 Brickell Ave., a proposed mixed-use development rising 47 stories and including 387 residential units, ground level retail uses, and a parking garage. The building would be constructed on a small site and designed around an existing office condo, said Ryan Baline, an attorney representing the developer. It is being marketed to young professionals with children. The site is adjacent to the Metromover, and initial designs incorporate a transit station. Architect Charles Seiger said plans call for dressing up the 10th Street station as well, including a wall with LEDs that move as the Metromover moves. The building would include a gym and game rooms.

Note: This has been approved as of this month, May, 2014 and construction will begin fall of 2014.

The CEO/Developer talking about this project and World Center(In Spanish): There are some nice renderings too.

Note: If anybody has questions PM me as I understand Spanish. Just to lazy to write it out the whole interview but in esence they are talking about adding amenities to Miami and how the project will transform the area. :P

Really though ,they are talking about the amenities that the building will have and how modern the project is. Also, how Miami is the right setting for such a venture when it comes to residential development.

I got "rooftop terrace."

This tower is good to go launch wise. It has sold 90% of its units. Financing wise, it has enough income to rise. Amazing thing though to note is the speed of the units being sold. The market is on fire. Thats 90% of the 387 residential units marketed.

47-Story 1010 Brickell Is Now Under Construction

Could this be moved to the construction section? Pics show a crane on site. And the foundation is complete.

Site work has started. Just drilling now. No foundation work.

1010 Brickell now has the FAA’s blessing to be built up to a height of 548-feet above ground, after the agency determined last week that the condo building would not pose a threat to air traffic.
