There are two Spencer's stores in NB. One in Moncton and the other in Fredericton.

You are missing Saint John at McAllister Place. So there is 3 in NB. And I said they haven't opened any new stores in over a decade I believe. They were saying when Covid hit, they opened another NB store instead, which that was Hot Topic not Spencer's.

New store was announced as PENN (Penningtons) Plus size womens fashions.

Seen someone post that Dominion and Atlantic Superstores were being rebranded but can seem to find anything online to back it up. :shrug:

Perhaps they are just gonna rebrand them as Loblaws stores. They were starting to switch that stylized “D” to an “L” on some Dominion stores in St Johns.

I also couldn't find anything online to back it up. Does not seem to be legitimate.

Yeah that's the only one I have seen referenced.

When I search up that twitter account from the screenshot, I can't seem to find the post on their feed. Given there is no news release from Loblaws, it seems unlikely to be authentic.

DoorDash has already changed Atlantic Superstore to Real Atlantic Superstore with a new logo following the blue and red colour scheme as Real Canadian Superstore. https://www.doordash.com/en-CA/busin...tore-11128230/


And a recently renovated New Brunswick store and a few others have changed their signage. However the actual stores still say Atlantic Superstore but in all white lettering and the Real Canadian Superstore red maple leaf with a blue background symbol instead of the Loblaws “L” symbol they’ve been using.

Employees say for weeks they’ve slowly been given blue shirts for their uniforms. So they are changing up the branding look to match with their Real Canadian Superstore banner. Haven’t seen anything about Dominion but I imagine it will follow suit as well.

Opening in the former Roots location outside of the mall next to Childrens Place.

Was driving by Dominion on Blackmarsh Road Sunday afternoon and they have their logo changed and updated on the exterior of their building. It’s the same Dominion name but the logo is changed from the stylized Loblaws “D” to the Canadian Superstore blue logo shield shape with a red maple leaf in the centre.

Real Canadian Superstore does not list Blackmarsh Road.

I was told they would be rebranded to Superstore but I would have expected the to all be the same.

I think they are still keeping the Dominion name here. Just updating the logo only from the stylized ‘D’ to the blue shield with red maple leaf which is on the mainland superstores. I don’t think the Memorial Stadium falls under the Superstore banner anyway as it’s much smaller overall.

Dominion's web site (https://www.newfoundlandgrocerystores.ca/ - I assume because Metro holds the rights to the Dominion name and just licenses it out) has been rethemed to the Canadian Superstore colours. It wasn't like it a few days ago.
