Thanks for the article. I followed the story and it appears that the council later voted to reduce the height of the buildings down to (2) 18 floors and (2) 21 floors, but the developer said that was too few units for the project. I think that this project will come back in some form as the amount of space in UTC is little.

Very innovative, but it costs a lot of money to build a skyscraper.

People in RB are not happy about that, and I don't blame them. It doesn't fit into the community. Business however will be the ultimate indicator.

So many communities like RB are unhappy about new Hooters locations, but once they realize that it's just another restaurant, life goes on.

the San Diegan has rose like 4-5 floors this weekend alone!!! they were evening working at night on a friday!!

my friend drove by the Hooters earlier at around 11:20 and she called me to tell me that it was packed and that there was already a collision getting into or out of the parking lot:jester:

I'll be there too soon enough too. :) It's much more convenient than the Mission Valley or PB locations.

the downtown one is convenient to me...but ive been to every Hooters in SoCal...so i had to add this to list ;)



(my waitress was incredibly hot...i didnt notice her name until like a half hour into the meal...and niether did my friends!! i was...distracted ;))

Parking is not a problem at all downtown. Spaces are really all ove rthe place. You just have to know where teh structures are and be willing to pay for it.

In my opinion, on street spaces should be removed... and persons should be directed to structures.
