Nice. Those murals are sweet.

Nice photos!

It's amazing how far away the Ren Cen looks from the Riverfront Apartments in that first picture. It seems like they're miles apart!

It's kind of amazing that you can see so much of downtown. The Books, One Kennedy, I think you can even see a bit of the David Whitney between the David Stott and 1001 Woodward!

That one is hilarious, because just looking at the picture, you can barely tell the difference between the real people and the mural.;)

Will the Greektown Hotel fill in any of that space between the Renaissance and the rest of the skyline in the the last pic?

Little, if any. It'll probably fall behind the Millender Center, if not the Ren Cen itself.

For the best view of the future Greektown Casino (and possibly the entire skyline in general), you'd want to hit Forest Park in Midtown. You can pano up a real nice shot from Riverfront East to Motor City Casino.

By the way, nice camera work, flar! Really crisp shots and vibrant colours.

Actually, the very best place to see the effect of the Greektown Hotel one the skyline will be from Belle Isle. It'll be slightly taller than the Blue Cross Blue Shield Service Center which sticks out like a sore thumb from Belle Isle.
