As long as the heights don't drop any further, I'm satisfied.
|
The also refer to the tallest tower as "1300" when it's actually 1337, so maybe they're wrong about the 950 figure... who knows.

^ A little Miami-ish, but I like it. Just a few years ago, this one tower alone would have us salivating. It's almost too much to take in at once.

As a member, I hope I get access to that Equinox and it doesn't end up being like e at the Time Warner Center. This building is stunning.

Just have a look... NEW YORK ... 825 FT NEW YORK ... 950 FT NEW YORK ... 895 FT NEW YORK ... 1,337 FT And this is just HY Phase 1...! Exciting times for sure. |
I actually liked the previous taller version with no setbacks better.

:previous: I did too. But I can't complain.

I third that actually. Looks a bit fat from some angles, but to be honest, I'm really splitting hairs.
Related has said previously that they would move their offices into this building, but does anyone know how many sf they would take? This building will have 561,000 sf of office space, just curious how much will be left over after Related's move. |
Kinda forgot about the Hudson project till seeing it on the news today. Looks good. I can see the hi line in the one pic. Still haven't had the chance to check that out.

Slightly off-topic, but I scoffed looking at the picture of the two walkers on the high line going into the Hudson Yards project. The high line is jam packed as it is every day. Especially during the summer months, parts of phase 2 consist of vegetation bottlenecks that limit a good flow of movement. It doesn't help when the lawn that was supposed to allow people to relax have all been closed off half the year, creating even more bottlenecks.
I foresee that adding thousands of new employees and residents from the Hudson Yards project will cause havoc on the high line, not to mention the upcoming Whitney Museum and other new projects on the high line. I think certain parts of phase 1 and phase 2 will have to be reworked in order to add pedestrian walking space. Anyway, this project looks amazing and I cannot wait to visit that obs deck. |
