I wish southpark was demolished and all of those stores were put in downtown. But we know that wont happen anytime soon. O well at least there are some good places to shop in south end, like niche and american apparel. They're not high end but i like them.

A few more things:
I don't think there were any renderings posted of the new Bank of America tower and Ritz-Carlton hotel that are under construction: http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93985955.jpg http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93985947.jpg http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93985948.jpg http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93985959.jpg Here is a rendering of the new AAA Baseball stadium uptown: http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93985964.jpg This shows the locations of the new Wachovia tower, and the plan for the 3rd Ward Park and baseball stadium, along with the multimodal station which will be the terminus of the north commuter (heavy rail) line and I believe will also serve the proposed streetcar lines. http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93985963.jpg And while I'm mentioning transit, here is a map of the transit plan. The dark blue line in currently in service. The next two lines to go into service will be the extention of the blue line northeast (2013) and the north commuter line (purple) in 2012. It is still unclear how far north it will go, as there is some debate by Mooresville/other about funding stations. http://www.pbase.com/bz3rk/image/93683522.jpg Large version is here: http://www.charmeck.org/NR/rdonlyres...p2242X3000.gif And finally, a few construction webcams: Catalyst: http://oxblue.com/pro/open/?webPath=novare/catalyst 210 Trade/Epicenter/Aloft Hotel (can also see Ritz-Carlton and BofA site: http://oxblue.com/client/flahertycollins/twotentrade/ Royal Court (which gives a good view of part of uptown. You can see Nascar, Wachovia, and Catalyst) http://oxblue.com/pro/open/?webPath=...epp/royalcourt |
Are there any renderings or construction pictures of that new 764 footer?
