Do we know the height of the tower yet?

Ballpark village looks decent. At least it looks relatively tall. It will add some needed height to the area. Also, does anyone know when Kettner & Ash or Pacific Highway & Broadway will break ground?

I thought Bosa has just been waiting for the resale market to recover enough to make it worthwhile with construction costs. I think most people are excited to see Pacific highway & Broadway get going since it's such a iconic looking building. Certainly at the top of my "needs to get built" in San Diego list. With units "starting" in the $750,000.00+ range the market will need to be pointing straight up before a shovel hits dirt though... :D |

I agree. There's enough room on that lot for two towers. A shame if it's only one. :yuck: It looks ok. Not great but certainly not bad either. One thing that could help it is they got something interesting in it's retail space beyond the usual suspects for downtown retail. :D |

I also like the corporate art type sculpture in the plaza at the base of the tower. Seems to emphasize the scale and height of the building. |

I just realized what the new BPV reminds me of.

^^ There are a bunch of rental car lots at the top of that picture. Does anyone know what happens to those when the new rental car facility is built on the north side of the airport? If they are relocated, what will happen to this land?

Broadway at harbor looking east. special light fixture |
So sick of those pathetic drab Navy offices sitting there on Harbor Dr. God those things need to go :yuck:
Concerning the Hotels on Harbor Island, I have always wondered why all that waterfront land is just sitting there as employee parking for the airport and why the lot by the restaurants is so huge. That area definitely has so much potential. Can you imagine how nice the views would be looking towards downtown from 20 floors up right there, and views to Tijuana beyond on a clear day, with ocean views as well to the South!! That could be one of the best angles for a panorama in the entire city if a Hotel were built next to Island Prime restaurant. |
