I'll start.

A dash of Toronto's Hockey (Leafs) fans.
A dollup of Ottawa's conservatism.
A dose of Montreal's road construction+ bridge infrastructure.
A heaping of Winnipeg's winter.
A cup of Vancouver's and Seattle's sunshine.
A part of Kiev's restaurant/food scene.
2 parts of Tokyo's work week schedule.
Capped off with Hong Kong's housing prices.

Chicago's winter
Phoenix's summer
Bismark, ND style pizza
Anchorage, AK women
NYC friendliness
Cleveland's football team

Toronto/Chicago/Minneapolis winter
Houston summer
Phoenix skyline(waiting for you Obadno)
Youngstown economy
Anchorage's location(isolation)
Nashvilles transport(lack of interstate/public transit)
San Francisco's politics

Anything with palm trees and no snow.

Tulsa but with San Francisco's NIMBYism and New Orleans' humidity.

A place that suffers from no severe weather.....I love severe weather!

My least ideal city would have:

Atlanta's traffic
Minneapolis's winter
Phoenix's summer
Detroit's transit
New York's July fragrance
Salt Lake City's diversity
Branson, MO's nightlife
Houston's zoning laws
Dallas's (ugly) freeways
Jacksonville's skyline
Boston's (cheating) sports teams
Charlotte's airport
Pittsburgh's geographic ambiguity
Philadelphia's proximity to a much bigger and more famous neighbor
Baltimore's latent jealousy of its flashier twin
D.C.'s traffic circles
Chicago's deep dish as the signature culinary dish
L.A.'s self-important Hollywood types
Vegas's (or Miami's) tourists
San Francisco's pointy-head know-it-all liberals (I'm a pointy-head know-it-all liberal, and that's often enough for me)

Any city north of the 49th Parallel (including Alaska, not just Canada) I like having the sun out but also not too, too much. Did I also mention I hate ice, cold weather and snow aside from the occasional novelty?

I was about to be like, what's so bad about deep dish? Although, I do think that it is a little weird for a city (that is the 3rd largest city in the country, no less) to have an essentially extra-loaded pizza as its signature dish.

In full disclosure, I cut cheese out of my diet years ago. But even when I was a cheese-loving, pizza eating, kid/teenager, the Chicago deep dish was just way too much of every ingredient.

I just say I prefer Chicago-style hot dogs to deep dish. Also I prefer Chicago-style thin crust to deep dish.

As for the least ideal city:

Houston humidity
Arlington TX Transit
Provo diversity
Anchorage skyline
Oklahoma City density

I feel like I'm camping even in lovely cities if I'm in a detached house set back from the sidewalk, so my nightmare is basically any of the Russian cities that are 99.9% concrete apartment blocks. Enormously wide streets, HUGE setbacks and green areas. It's how I imagine a lunar base should look, not a city.

I mean... just kill me.

If I had to follow the formula...

Murmansk (or any of the other's) urban form
Edinburgh's colours and nightlife
Halifax's attitude
Old Quebec City's ratio of locals/tourists
Belfast's ease of movement
Branson's arts scene
Oymyakon's climate

Houston's humidity is actually good for the skin...even if it sucks the life out of you. I'm in my mid-40's and have virtually no crows feet or frown lines. I am often mistaken for being in my early to mid 30's. Thanks Houston!

Any big city which isn't near the sea or isn't crossed by a true river.
Those feel so bland to me, I can't get interested in them.
Any real city should have a waterfront.

I understand. I absolutely love pizza but deep dish is like once or twice a year for me. It's too much goodness. I am in a coma for like 2 solid days and unable to function correctly for probably a week afterward.

But damn it, its so damn good!

Do people in Chicago eat deep dish more than "normal" pizza btw?

Your question doesn't make any sense.

Deep dish pizza is normal pizza.

All pizza is normal pizza.
