Genco Development Corporation has submitted a Development Permit for a 207 unit, 27 story Residential tower, called 'Genco 1108' located at 1108 - 4th St SW Calgary.

Wasn't this supposed to be a commercial development? When did Genco get into residential?

It was going to be a 12 storey office tower, but they have since changed the plans. Not sure why Genco is in the residential business unless they are planning to develop it for someone else.

Yup, another 207 units for the Beltline :)

I found this image in Imgur. It's basically the same as the rendering I've seen, but because the image straddles two pages it looks warped on the right hand side. Both sides of the building shown in the rendering are flat, but this image gives a general idea of how it looks.
