Bahh hum, I hate Phoenix's layout, so squareish and boring, you can tell if you look closely. Hardly Insperational. RedNeck City = Apache Junction and Beyond Mormon City = Gilbert & Chandler plus west Mesa, nice but like mini-Utah Rich! = Scottsdale, its nice there, like a 2nd West LA New Phoenix = A new Phoenix is rising, Queen Creek! Wal-Marts and planned neighborhoods everywhere! But the commute to Phoenix is rediculous. Beach: Supposibly Tempe Town River, its a friggin River. |
what is Phoenix Lights?
Here is me anyway , somewhere in the yellow square ,
the orange square is where i used to work at TNT air express , next to Sydney Airport http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...dat/mine-1.jpg |

i didn't see any resutls or anything though. but yeah, it is unpopular. i recall saying that when it first started. i'll post it tomorrow (it is tomorrow) i mean later today. ;)
just a thought,we could make our own proposals for The San fransisco Transbay Terminal? That would be a fun Comp.
cool
rich people hahaha |
heres the scoop,sf has been purposly reverted in time. you know how I made 2 cities and combined em? wellllllll,I undid that, the file size was Huge,60 MB or somthin? so I choose to continue work with the second city,Improving as I go. I hoped to wait a loomg tome afore a mega update, but with school and all:P Atleast itll be six weeks shorter this year.the stupid losers of the Texas board of Education moved all schools to starting and ending at the same time,so we got shaved.
wow,that was random.:notacrook: |
contract sighned with RockPoint Contruction to build a few bridges,146 feet in length.
I also demod thos two huge artdeco towers, making Bay International Condos the Tallest Again. |
You can get rid of a ton of file size by deleting all the streetside detail. You know, get rid of curbs, streelights, people, cars, benches, etc. CCII is about 80 mb, and I know it covers far more land than SF do.
eh,it runs fine now,with the split,about 22MB.
any updates
:previous: read Rbowk!!!
i'm pretty sure filesize doesn't really affect performance anyways, it's how much stuff that's in view. you can have a huge file and zoom in real close to something and it won't be choppy. On the other hand you can have a small file, 1 mb, with a bunch of components and shadows turned on, all in view, and it will be choppy. personally, i only add components temporarily (people, cars, ect) when i'm making a scene image.
yeah,i just hide the grid,so no components:shrug:
well as CGII mentioned:
Quote:
the grid is a component, all the people and details are one the grid,so hiding the grid works like a charm
. |
i do read i am not here all day i am at school
The riverfront is done, theres a new tallest to roof, theres a history lesson coming soon, and life is good.
Yes, when are you gonna post the pics on Sunday? Because you can do it before if you want!!!
I gathering pics now.
The riverfront, including a building by Rbowk Developers,Youll see more later.
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...riverfront.png fluffy went through cruel and unusail torture with the pedestrian bridge:haha: amd the new tallest to roof,BOA San Rios(a district of SF) http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...llest2roof.png |
I love the building in the last pic (the BOA right?). I love the shape of the pedestrian bridge, I was gonna make a bridge in similar design in Mexico City but I gave up on that city.
yep,thats boa at 500 feet.and yep,its green!
Very sleek. The pedestrian bridge is very creative!
500 feet? That's the tallest in your city? Poor Skyscraper Page forumers from San Felix, they have nothing to show off. I think it's time that your city has a BUILDING BOOM!!
;) plans for atleast 2 1,000 footer's,possibly and probably more.
you see that wide river? thats the dividing line;) also comin soon, san Felix mission and museam of caliornian history. |
Now were talking!! Since plans are for two, does this mean they will be twins or of similar design?
not for a while, the Bay internayional condos just lost the title an hour ago,and there twins.Echo Electronics will probably rule the future skyline, along with Picaso Plaza and Cathedral tower. You can see all these towers at one point or another in this thread.
school,Im afraid,will bring SF to it's knees.:( |
HA school rules!!! I won't have time either. Almost nobody will. Well you can make 1 tower before school starts right?
Your BoA building is awesome! :)
im working on the riverfront right now.
Californian plaza was moved, extending the skyline. it looks much better now.:D |
Which one is Cali Plaza? The Trump looking building?

more history.
The city was doing poorly, and decling.but then,in 1857,gold was was struck, and the third gold rush was on.few believed it though, with the first two failing.so all gold rushers converged on the city, turning its economy around. a few lucky people made millions, and all got a few bucks selling what they found. the stone, Felix Stone was mined heavily, and sent to the city in return for money, the city thought the stone would contain gold, but few piecies did. Today, the extra stone can be seen used throught the city. san Felix was now a desirable boomtown, attrcting more people over time next time, the 1900's. heres the current skylie http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...uluulululu.png |
