New rendering of the dual-branded AC Hotel / Residence Inn that will be going atop Epicenter. The building will be 320 ft tall (with 225 ft of it the new structure) — 22 total floors. 184 rooms for AC Hotel, 116 rooms for Residence Inn (please, please change this brand).
http://i.imgur.com/wa1Md11.png On the 22nd floor there will be a bar and terrace that is approximately 5,600 sqft extending the entire length of the building along the light rail. Skylights and a standard roof structure will cover half of the this area and the remainder will be outdoors. There will also be a smaller balcony on the Trade Street side. Source Pre-recession there was going to be a condo tower (called 210 Trade) that was going to be built atop the 5 floor Epicenter. That was never built. Here you can see the 1st floor of the hotel (former condo) structure sitting uncompleted atop Epicenter: http://www.creativesurfaces.com/wp-c...-exterior2.jpg This is what 210 Trade would have looked like: http://harconforming.com/newsite/wp-...06023.png.jpeg |
