I know there's plenty of situations like this. It's why I kept it as the region you currently live in.

You’ll never guess.

You seem Manitoban to me. Or maybe Nova Scotian.

You could have saved 80% of the characters by typing "BC" instead of "West Coast". (Gaining in accuracy while doing so.)

:P

I'm skeptical we have four Quebec residents who have voted in this poll already :P

I've seen the type of pictures he posts here (fishing villages, colorful houses, the sea), he's clearly from the Maritimes.

Same. I have not voted BTW.

lio45 Aug 21, 2020 3:37 PM

Seriously? So that's three mystery voters instead of the two I thought previously.

(Or, accounting for MolsonExport, still two mystery voters instead of one.)

I suppose digitboy voted, despite the fact he almost doesn't exist outside the Quebec subforum (or, I could even say, the Rimouski thread), given he voted in Truenorth's other "forum census" thread.

That still leaves us with one mystery voter in any case!

I voted Quebec by mistake. I voted based on the thread’s title (where are you from, so from my understanding, where you were born?) and I didn’t pay attention to the poll’s subject, which is different.

Born and raise in Strathroy/London, went to university in Ottawa and Toronto, and lived in Vic/Van for 30 years.

One funny little thing about BC is the northeast corner includes stuff on the other side of the mountains. It's more Prairie than West Coast.

I think of the actual West Coast as only being the coastal parts of BC extending a little bit inland. As a point of comparison, Reno is closer to the Pacific than a lot of the BC interior. Would somebody living in Reno say they live on the West Coast?

Well if someone on these boards lives in Fort St John they are free to say so via post.

Not too sure anyone does though ;)
