I thought the gym was lower down? This sort of looks like the same model with the over height gym level floor but maybe with some section of the model removed on the other side.

Some version had a pool deck lip as well.

The version of the tower before it went kaput seems to have had the two tall floors at the top

Nope, but similar name, that was B&B Scale Models.

They started at B+B and left to start their own company in 1991. Unless there's another model making firm I think they're the only left after B+B closed down.

EDIT: Seems like there's a small new firm. They've done Fifteen Fifteen, Terrace House etc. Owner seems to have worked at AB Models for a few years and left.

There's also The Model Shop, who made the Brentwood model. They're now located in Britannia Beach, but mostly make models of Metro Vancouver projects, and ProModelbuilders on East 6th in Mount Pleasant, like A&B.
