Of all the sites in the world I've never seen anything like it, seriously if money is an issue why not add a fee or somekind of paypal deal or something..

I remember that when adds were added everything would be great - sadly it went the complete opposit way :(

I think ppl are way too much dependent on SSC, sorry to say, but its only a forum guys. I like to visit SSC only bc of friends there, I no longer post on development threads bc its quite depressing to read project canceled or no money or that old excuse recession.

There's better forums out there where you can post more fun stuff.

And you're right, what first attracted me to the site (Construction in Chicago) is not that interesting because of this recession stuff. nothing is going on anymore, worst yet... things are starting to get cancelled like the CS and the WV

BTW loads of mods and admins from SSC are admins and mods here as well.

How much free time do some people have ?
I mod one section at SSC and I nearly have enough time to mod it :(

^I mod the Nordic&Baltic over on SSC, pretty simple gig. Being the €-form mod here is also very nice (usually). Nowadays a mod at www.yimby.se too. plus a new girlfriend. plus the last two weeks of school (finally getting done with that at 29 y/o).

Swede, sorry m8, but you need real life ;) I can barley bother to come to SSC and talk to ppl, to mod 3 forums is way to much, I'd rather play games, go out and spend time with my gf ;)

PS, yep I know you from Nordic forums and must say you are good mod there, you and Atlantic are doing fine job, considering how many big headed guys you've got there.


Grumpy, pardon my ignorance, I don't know which section of SSC you mod, I know you from these forums, and I can see you are trying to update every single thread, good on you, I'd loose it, I can barely keep up with the single thread :D

Hi , I mod the ROS section at SSC since many years.
I tried to update the European section here but there is to less response so I only stick to the Berlin thread with Khazars.
The main reason here at SSP for me is Chicago.
