Not sure I understand your logic here. Sure, people will still buy it, but the price at which they buy it will still go down accordingly.

The 700 ft figure by the CTBUH leads me to believe this is the 2nd tallest. The next tallest to follow will be a minor difference in height.

This building is turning out much better in person than the renders made it look. I'm still worried about that parepet though. The sudden change from horizontal black banding to yellow vertical stripes... It could either look really good or really bad. In the renders it looks really bad but I guess we'll see in the next few weeks...

Wow ! . . this one came out of nowhere . .
or I haven't been paying much attention.
I saw it comin' back home . .
going south on the west side highway at dusk . .
(October New England foliage was spectacular by the way) . . anyway . .
It was before the slight bend in the river & it was directly South of us . .
as we were bumpin' along . . it loomed large just ahead . .
looking like it was in Manhattan . . It was "Big Town" impressive . .
2nd tallest in the tallest & biggest peripheral-NYC-skyline . . Way to go Jersey City !
and there's a 990 ft one on the way . . nice.

Can see multiple developments. In terms of JC, it adds to much to the aesthetics in the grand scheme.

Even though the design concept is way overused nowadays, it is looking great! No denying how great it is turning out.
