One thing I'll give it, is the angle of the pitched room kind of echos the shape of Evo and the other angled buildings in the area. I think it would look better facing the other way though, with the slant going the other way from the Evo. Also kind of odd the roof balcony section is on the side facing away from Center City?

I say not bad for a mid block hi-rise.
Never much for dark metal panels but...
You can generally not see most of it up close, being mid block.
Good scale and composition.
I would have never even considered development at this scale on this lot.

Probably faces that way so it gets more sun for the tenants to enjoy. It'll have some beautiful sunset views. The view towards Center City is fairly obstructed and would be shadier.

The entire thing should just be that white. Would be 100x better than the used sanding sponge.

Am i missing a slant? This thing looks as flat as JCVDs stomach.

At the very top (on the right in this rendering)--and very subtle:

OK - I can see this thing from my house and there's no visible slant that I can recall seeing. I'll take a closer look, when I'm home. If something is so subtle that no one notices it, does it actually exist?

You can see the slant here on this photo by Jawnadelphia. The slant is on the west side, not so visible from the south due to the floorplates popping out

I've found it quite noticeable from the South St bridge, which is where I'm usually looking at it from.

^ Definitely no "people's choice" award for this one, but thanks for playing.

Would it break the budget to add a tree or planters?

UrbanRevival Sep 26, 2023 4:21 PM

It's definitely....a building.

At least it adds housing and density, but not in any way that's inspiring.

PurpleWhiteOut Sep 26, 2023 4:56 PM

I saw Jawnadelphia posted one above, but it does look admittedly cool from Cira Green imo.

This reminds me of the PSFS building. This is a solid infill project for sure.

MusicMan84 Sep 30, 2023 1:49 PM

Somehow the sign above the door is uglier than the building itself. A true accomplishment.
