There is probably a long term plan, but I don't think redevelopment of those sites is imminent.

OK. I actually confused Domain 3 and Domain 4 with Domain III and Domain IV. The Roman numeral versions of the two are the 300 footers going through permitting that will be squeezed in by IBM Bldg 45.

Ha! Yea, Stonelake is actually calling those Domain Tower III and Domain Tower IV in their marketing. With the four Domain Towers, two Domain Points, two Offices at the Domain, one Domain Gateway and Domains 1-999, its hard to keep them all straight! :D

Site prep underway for the latest apartment complex across the street from the Domain and just south of Top Golf.

Where do you find the marketing info for Stonelake ? Been looking for it, all I have found is the data from COA.

Murfnut, the poster is in the industry. The posts are coming from the industry.

wwmiv is correct (thanks). A location map for all of the buildings and a preliminary rendering for Domain Tower III from the marketing materials are posted earlier in this thread.

thanks, found it

It's great to see height and density moving outside of the Domain proper. This one is 7-stories at its tallest point.

Syndic Jan 28, 2019 3:18 PM

There's also something being built on the other side of the IBM building. It's pretty tall already. Not sure what it is. Sorry, I'm not in the office today to take a pic.

Something right around this area.

Will try to remember to take a pic next time I'm in the office.

Quick update for the south end of Domain:

I took these pics Friday afternoon from the Stonelake garage. They have a large section of the old 045 parking lot fenced off and are doing some kind of utility work. I don't know if it's related to any future site prep or some kind of finishing work for the garage.
You can see Flatiron, Flatiron Office, and the 3 Maravilla buildings in the final stages of construction in the background.

The second picture looks like a future site pad for retail perhaps? It is highlighted in yellow on the Google sat view screenshot.

The light blue are the outlines from the plans that TheATX posted earlier in the thread for the 4 future buildings planned.

The first picture, IBMers were told it would go on through March and is for future development. I assume the utilities added are for Domain Tower 2.

The second picture is the Element hotel, not sure why it stopped. Its been sitting like that for weeks, it stopped after some heavy rain over a number of days but never started again.

Something interesting this morning, the big blue box by the yellow box, near the parking garage it looks like they are taking core samples, I assume that is for Domain Tower 4 (big blue box).

From my office this morning. Domain 10 and 12 under construction with Domain 11 in the background. (Remove the last h out of these URLs to view bigger versions.)

Here's that building going up on the other side of the IBM lot. Not sure what it is.

Also, a shot of the downtown skyline just because it looked beautiful this morning.

That is the Schwab Campus parking garage #2. It's 8 stories, plus an open deck.

Yes these are great pictures. Thanks for the update.

Nice pics! I especially like the last one showing the other downtown in the distance.

Some additional renders for the forthcoming South End towers.

I don't think these have been posted yet, but can be found at the second Folder Attachment "AEC Domain South CSP CD-2018-0007" from the site plan:

I'm liking the look of DT2. That combined with DT1 with its light feature will be a nice look to the 'front door' of the Domain. Maybe they will give DT2 a similar light feature.

The ATX Jan 30, 2019 2:04 AM

There are a lot of nice renderings in that attachment. This is the first time I've seen renderings like that in a DA or site plan application. Usually this is what we see at various boards and commissions meetings. I hope we see more of this in the future.

I think Charles Schwab may be building something to the right of that red circle. Their campus is on the other side of the CapMetro track from IBM.

Syndic Jan 30, 2019 12:47 PM

This is surely the tallest residential building in Austin north of West Campus. Very exciting. Almost unbelievable that they'd build it but speaks to the market strength and desirability of the Domain these days.
