The University of Montreal main pavilion is one of my favourite buildings in Canada, shame it isn't well know outside the city. It is one of this country's biggest and finest art deco pieces.

God, that first picture of Montreal. It's just perfectly what I want from a city. It's proper density - whether it's a big city or a small town, that's what makes a place feel urban to me. That's what I NEED. The rest... great size, amenities, a CBD with towers... is all bonus.

the view when you land on the 24R, it's the best.

I miss Mile End and I've never even lived there, just visited. I think the purest nostalgia is often for things you never actually experienced or had.

For those interested, Mile End (in redish-brown) is a subset of the Plateau Mont-Royal (green), some of the greatest areas in the city for shopping, restaurants and bars! :cheers:

First pic : The Canada Life building is one of my favorite in the country.

The snowy pictures are fantastic.

The pics with Aura in a sea of high-rises is pretty sick. Aura may look bland during the day, but at night it doesn't matter so much. Not a beauty, but what a beast ! (yeah, lame, I know - it's friday and my brain is off).

Our skyline is definitely a lot more flattering in the dark...
