This isn't terrible, IMO. And as Mcgrath618 said, it's better in person.

LVL North At 510 North Broad Street is my pick for ugliest new building, it's beyond atrocious.

incredibly minor point but still...

I believe they’re still going to put panels over those orange sections. Probably having a hard time getting them made due to supply chain issues, but I don’t believe this is the finished product. You’ll remember that the new tower on the Camden waterfront was similarly panel-less for a long time and y’all were wondering about the orange parts.

Looks to be in a similar state as this:

Tbh I think the copper color works much better in person than it does in photos. I think it's kinda cool. I'm happy to see something unique and fun, and at least isn't tall enough to offend too many from afar lol.

The walkway is indeed temporary. There will be a building here in the future.

as much as I hope you are correct, the removal of the tower crane makes me think that we are past that point and this is what we're to expect. this COULD be a cool building but the lack of any depth/texture just destroys the dimension.

It also has interesting implications in that apparently you can go to CDR and deliver something completely different.. not that it's binding anyway I guess

I had thought this was going to be the case as well, but the panels have a glossy outside finish which seems like there's no attachment points or anything. I could be wrong but they seem like exterior panels.

It looks like unfinished plywood to me.
