So there was a demolition permit in review here in 2021 that was cancelled due to non-response. But there is a 2022 permit in review to build the building. Unsure if this relates to the new rules that disallow demolition before an approve site plan permit is issued?

New permits here:
23 108968 00 - Conditional Foundation Permit - Review 23-112353 00 - To demolish an existing 302 m2, 1-storey commercial building to check-including footings and foundation as shown on the attached site plan - Review |

Looks like this is moving forward. The building is fully gone, and there is a construction trailer on site on the street. Looks like this will move forward pretty quickly after getting permits.

Someone has been storing crane parts at the old brick plant on Lawrence Road, and I saw a grey part getting trucked out this morning. I wonder if it was going here.
|
Wow, I'm new to learning about construction and all that so it's interesting to see a crane being built. Usually from my point of view they just kind of... appear

Nice to see, this will go up fast with no underground parking required.

If the walls for the first floor were poured June 19. That's three floors in four weeks. At this pace this should be topped out by mid-August.

I feel like we don't know much about this project. Thought I'd get an aerial shot of it.
