Are you implying that walking down Main Street doesn't invoke the feeling of being in Manhattan?

Esp. when literally NOTHING about this building screams manhatten, and more "80s hamilton style with a glass building plopped on top" |

That rings a very distant bell in my brain... |

^Ah yes, there it is - a very distant memory.

I guess the Manhattan is trying to match the brick colour of the building across the road maybe? I know black and grey are pretty popular at the moment but if you are going to put a mediocre building up using those colours do tend to make it seem a little nicer than it really is. |
Bets one way or the other on whether this will ever actually happen?

Maybe once LRT has shovels in the ground. |
0%, Manhattan West gave up and sold the property.
The lot is too shallow and next to a single family residential house making it impossible to respect setbacks and angular planes requirements, as it should be. Quote:

The lot has been sold to Belmont Equity Partners. Based on their website it appears that most of their projects are commercial buildings.

Thank god. Something other than what was proposed.

This is one of those lots I am most excited to see fill up with something. The lots right off the highway, and with access to Locked St within walking distance will make the area fill in with people. Main really needs to go to two-way traffic though. It currently kills any type of walkability of the street on top of the paper thin sidewalks.

They could just be testing for soil contamination. It was a gas station previously.
