St. Louis-based real estate firm Sansone Group is considering purchasing the land for a potential data center project. While the firm has not submitted any official proposal to York Township, they have discussed a possible project with township officials and planners, according to township meeting minutes.

Edit: deleted my original rant about tearing down buildings vs repurposing the parking lot for the development across from Delonis. After looking more closely and the renderings they are keeping the historic brick factory facade, so at least that's not lost.

Exclusive golf club planned near Ann Arbor targets jet set members

Membership documents obtained by Crain’s show the proposed club would be geared toward an exclusive, national membership — at least initially limited to 50 members — that would largely fly into either Detroit Metro Airport about 30 miles away or a handful of closer, private airports with final destination transportation part of the club amenities. On-site lodging and dining are planned.
