The company that used to be on the banners was something like 'top notch hotel builders' IIRC. I think it may have been an arm of Northlands possibly.

Just checked Google street view, and the banner say Top Hotel Builders so you were close. When I search that it directs to Northland Properties which shows the Sutton Project at the top of its projects page.

I wonder if its an environmentally friendly type of oil? If so its not as urgent to remedy as the normal petroleum based oil.

There is no environmentally friendly oil really, it’s just likely bureaucratic underfunding/disarray/incompetence that is probably the reason there is no urgency to respond to it.

It's funny how much posters here hate Northland when they are a massively successful business.

They're poor decisions have been an eyesore for a half decade. Not much to like.

Took a quick search on the city's site but couldn't find the details; maybe someone with some spare time can track them down. :D

The picture shows it at about the same height of the other towers but I counted 28 floors. Its hard to tell from that picture though.

Certainly looks scaled down to me. What a shame.

I wonder why they veered away from a glass tower. The other three towers are predominantly glass, giving TNS a cohesive look. Is it a cost savings measure?

I think one of the original proposals included a residential tower. Maybe they're going with just the hotel now?

Oh well, at least the project will get finished. There'll be another hotel in the area and we'll have a tower about the same height as the Wawanesa building to look at.
