San Felipe Plaza. It's a 625 foot, 45-story office tower.

Oh yeah....it's sort of away from the denser part. I actually attended a conference in that building years ago.

It’s nearly an ideal scenario for infill development, preserving a historic downtown structure while bringing 242 new residences to market.

Herzog & de Meuron Reveals Design for Mass-Timber Mixed-Use Development in Austin

Word floating around in the Austin sub-forum that a supertall taller than 98 Red River is proposed. This comes from two different users. It is said to be presented to the design commission in late September with a 3Q 2023 start date, 4 year construction timeline.

No word on location. My guess would be 3rd and Congress, what’s being planned there is rumored to be a super tall.

Edit: Going through the discussion again it may be 410 East 5th- currently proposed at 54 floors but is said to be “drastically updated.”

Austin's Tallest Projects Lists have been updated. We have 13 projects over 600' with six of them U/C. There are more 600 plus footers planned but not listed because an exact height or floor count is not available.
