At the pace we are moving it will happen sooner than later! The Austin boom continues!

This should push us ahead of Dallas in terms of height and
Volume. |

The ATX East Tower should be around 950 feet according to the renderings. Of course, it could be taller or shorter if they change it, but that's the number I feel good going with based on the images of it. The shorter tower - ATX West, looks to be about 650 feet.
I'll do a list later, but yeah, with everything in the pipeline now, we would easily pass Dallas for tallest and the number of 400+ footers. Where Dallas still exceeds is having a TON of 300+ foot buildings all over the city that really adds to their bulk. Uptown/Turtle Creek is full of them, which really adds to the bulk of their central skyline. |

Let's not turn this into a city vs city thread, y'all.
Dallas/Fort Worth is booming at ridiculous amounts across the whole metroplex. Austin is booming at ridiculous amounts as well. Houston is also, I believe. San Antonio, too. Yay, Texas! Let's leave it there. :) |
It almost seems like Houston is slowing down a little... but then again I've not been out in a while...
However, all of these new towers are good for Austin. Keep up the good work! |
Seems like the whole world is moving to Texas (and Florida). That can hardly be a bad thing for skyscrapers!

Don't know if this has been posted but here's another tower:

I updated the list of Austin's tallest projects:
https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/sho...05&postcount=6 The list has 80 projects over 150'. It doesn't include some projects where we are waiting for height or floor counts. 307 E. 2nd is an example of a big project that we are awaiting height info. Here are the first 25 on the list. The green highlight means they are U/C. https://i.imgur.com/TbOegCE.png |

This is a new proposal for The Travis-Tower II site. It's now known (at least temporarily) as 80 Red River. There is an entire thread regarding this tower and Travis-Tower I. And, no...it will be the second tallest in town (as the clowns at the Statesman proclaim). If built (and completed as designed), 98 Red River, 6XGuad and 4th & Brazos will be taller. |
