I moved here in the '80s, and it certainly has changed. The change just since 2009 is absolutely amazing.

Here's the site of the next new tallest, the 848' 6xG tower. The first above ground level is being worked on. This was taken just now from the construction webcam. They have been working nights.

That's bonkers how fast this thing is moving. Amazing how not long ago there was an extended stay hotel here and now they already have what, a four story underground parking garage and it's already above street level? That's insane

Geez that's so different than what it is now.

It's hard to believe that was only 12 years ago!

This shows off the general depth of our skyline, and Indeed Tower in particular (U/C with red cranes)

It'll be interesting how the skyline will look over the next decade.

This still has to be one of the tallest pandemic era proposals. Possibly in the whole US.

This project was first proposed in 2019. However, there is no longer a hospitality component and they recently added three floors and ~31' to its height.

I think that one was in the works pre-pandemic as well. I don't know of any significant tower announced anywhere that is a post pandemic (start of pandemic) creation.

Along with many others that were proposed before 2019 and are still considered active proposals, many of them being much taller than this project.

Tallest "pandemic-era" proposal appears to be this-for Birmingham, AL of all places.

That’s not gonna happen. I lived in Birmingham for a while. They’re all about revitalizing existing buildings.
