Wow that new SoCo hotel really does look like a 50 year old building. I see plenty of buildings with mid-century design, but this is so much like the actual old stuff... it's almost creepy. It looks like something we'd be calling for the demolition/redevelopment of if it was downtown.
Probably will look a lot better when the retail is in... and maybe with some lighting. |

Nice pictures, you two. I've noticed something funny about the roof of the library, and I wonder if it was intentional or not, but that angled structure on the roof sort of resembles an open book laying face down.

The tower portion of 48 East Ave looks much better, but the podium still needs some work.

This is the City's response to the Zuker Report. In this response a mention is made to a planned 'Grand Hotel' on Waller Creek. First I've heard of it.
