The Great Canadian Security Question Thread?

I'm in my early 40s. I don't have hard numbers to back it up, but I suspect that when I joined this forum nearly 20 years ago, the average age was much younger, teens to early 30s. From local meetups and pictures of other meetups during those years, it felt like the typical user was either university/college-aged, or a recent graduate. These days it feels like the typical user is mid-career or older.

As I've pointed out before, this forum (and others like it, I guess) is a bit of a web 1.0 relic and it doesn't really attract a lot of younger people anymore. Which is OK with me, I don't think it would be 10x better if it had 10x the users.

I've been an active user on here since I was 14 - I'm 27 now. I would think that early start makes me an outlier on here.

What is your mother's maiden name and what is your oldest cousins first name? As well, please let us know which accounts you use these passwords for :)

I'm surprised that 130 people voted. Figured the design competition poll would be more fun lol.

I feel older than most forumers but turned out to be right in the middle at mid 30's. Are lurkers driving up the average?

If we are bandying about possible threads, might I suggest we create one that is dedicated to people's thoughts about the shopping mall crisis that engulfed Bari 5 or 6 years ago?
