Because it was posted as the last post on the previous page, many people wouldn't see it because most people just check the most recent page as far as I know. Did it to help give it some deserved notice :P

I usually go by the little box on the upper left corner of a post, or by the date. It may be ok to quote one or two pictures but it becomes a pain when many pictures are reposted. For example, I am reading something and see a bunch of photos, then read a little more then see the same photos I saw before... scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll scroll &^$& scroll... until I finally see the next post. It drives me crazy! Please keep that in mind when you quote images.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I just thought that many people may not see that particularly fantastic photo post otherwise. You can delete the comment if you like, I won't be offended.

Usually I only check the most recent page unless there is an interesting conversation going on. Probably would have missed those pictures if they weren't quoted on this page.
I don't mind quoted pictures from a previous page but it gets annoying seeing the same pictures posted over and over again on the same page. |

Went for a little run out to the suburban town of Portugal Cove-St. Phillip's early this morning. :)
Set to Sons of Erin, the Great Big Sea of my parents' generation and the band that founded Erin's Pub on Water Street. Standing on the coast of Portugal Cove-St. Phillip's looking toward Bell Island and its town, Wabana. Two ferries cross back and forth all day, every day. A friend of a friend has been picking up steam as a local photographer, he's only 18 but started selling his work/services last fall and travels around the west coast photographing whatever catches his eye. He already has one of the better collections of landscape photos from the west coast I've come across.
He's constantly trying to get more views of his work and routinely submits things to the CBC and they air some of it on the evening news.
