Although these two views have been seen before, these are much bigger renderings of this project from Nelsen Partners' website

They should put wider staircases leading up from the sidewalk. Also, I took this picture today:

The birds are either enjoying the view or thinking "there goes the neighborhood"... ;)

In any event, looks like they're making great progress. Isn't it funny how some projects just seem to fly while others seem to be stuck in the mud?

I think the grackles have gotten bored with the Hancock HEB and decided to check out Whole Foods.

Damn, that's a lot of wires. There aren't even enough grackles to perch on all of them. :yuck:

That's like a scene from "The Birds"....on another note, I feel sorry for whoever parked under those wires.

Oh, what could have been. This should have been at least 40-stories...

True, a 40 story tower would have been a lot better, but does anyone know if there's another tower planned for the other half of the site?

Yes. The second "tower" will be five stories due to a CVC.

Great find AusTxDevelopment! So I take it that building 2 and the new parking garage will be going up all at once.

The ATX Feb 20, 2017 3:50 AM

The cranes should be jumped soon. There are crane sections in the pit.
